Thamanyah (clothing and perfume brand ) started as a light impulse. The Creative Director of Thamanyah, Mr. Ahmed Abdelrahman, wanted to connect works that are deeply linked to a place, engage with the history and traditions of nations and cultures.
“At that point, I wasn’t thinking of establishing a brand, It wasn’t the intention”. (Ahmed Abdelrahman) Influenced bylines and volumes of the male wardrobe of the Arabian Peninsula, reinforced by details of Italian bespoke tailoring, Ahmed’s work maintained a balance of traditional form while pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. The collection was immediately validated by iconic stores such as Barneys New York, Selfridges London, Isetan Tokyo, and Maxfields Los Angeles.
